Thermo-Trol Systems’ Service Department has had a Preventative Maintenance Contract with Pavilion 1 for over 10 years. In 2011 a complete Controls renovation/installation of Automated Logic was performed by Thermo-Trol Systems Service Department resulting in a 26% energy savings in the first year for our customer.

Thermo-Trol Systems’ Service Department has had a DDC Preventative Maintenance Contract with Lynnwood Plaza for over 10 years. The Service Department is currently upgrading and recommissioning the entire building’s Automated Logic Control System while the building is occupied and continuing it’s normal day to day operations.

This forty year old building with a forty year old HVAC system represented a challenge for Thermo-Trol Systems, the owner, and the design build contracting team. Norfolk Southern Tower was in need of a building solution. Thermo-Trol Systems competitively proposed a top to bottom building solution using Automated Logic DDC controls. The project was a phased solution spanning multiple floors and years. Today the building has state of the art controls, graphics, and analytics.

This building had one of the oldest VAV systems in the area, the system did not work until Thermo-Trol Systems engineered and installed a practical solution for the entire building. New DDC and HVAC equipment elevated the poor performance of this building to a highly energy efficient building.
